Auditing generally means the evaluation process of an individual, organization, a system, process, an enterprise, a project or a product. This term is commonly used in project and production management, energy conservation and accounting. Of them the most known is the auditing in accountancy. The output of an audit shows the validity and the reliability of the information and also it is an assessment of the system’s internal control.
The auditor should be a well educated and experienced in the field concerned. He must use proper tools and techniques plus his previous experiences for a successful audit. Like other formal organizations, they do have an organizational hierarchy, reporting structures etc. The service of an organization is preferred over an individual as its trustworthiness and responsibility.
